Coir
Coir rugs and carpets have a warm friendly look, they are durable and the most inexpensive way to achieve a natural, country look with a rustic feel.
Coir is made from the strong fibres of the coconut husk found in the lush state of Kerala, India. The coconuts grow around the many inland lakes and waterways. The husks are soaked in water ponds for several months before long fibres are extracted and spun. Coir is recommended for heavy domestic and medium contract situations.
Suitable for: All over the house, good with muddy boots etc., very wardwearing.
